About Us
Privately owned, the major shareholder is also the Managing Director, which means both the management chain and the decision-making process are refreshingly short.
This, together with a highly-skilled directly employed labour force, makes rapid response to issues, close personal attention to both clients and their projects the standard practice at Miletree.
A welcome change from the usual market standard that keeps Miletree ahead of its competitors and is reflected in continued growth to a current turnover of £11m p.a.
Company Aim:
To undertake “the foundations” of the project in such a way as to act either as a springboard, enabling others involved later in the process to proceed on schedule or, if involved later, to undertake the final element of the scheme effectively, thereby enabling timely completion of the whole project.
Our philosophy is to work with clients and their consultant teams, to anticipate and advise in order to resolve issues before they arise.
Adopting a pro-active “can do” approach, Miletree will provide a range of technical solutions to overcome design problems.
Utilising our extensive company-owned plant and vehicle fleet, maintained to a high standard in our own workshops, provides Miletree with much more influence over the construction process and therefore confident control over timely project delivery.
Excluding recent recruits, a recent study established that the average length of employment at Miletree is 10 years – another sign of a good company.
Miletree considers quality and safety to be at the heart of each project and as such has secured the following Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards:
- ISO 9001:2000 (Cert no: FS55063)
- Construction Line Approved, No. 5113.
- CHAS Approved
- Excellent Health & Safety record.
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
